This strategy thrives on executing both long and short signals. Long positions excel during macro bull markets, while short positions shine in bear markets. For instance, longs performed exceptionally well in 2023 but underperformed during the bear market of 2022.
Over many years, I have meticulously tested thousands of different trading strategies. My goal has always been to find the most effective method that allows retail investors to make profitable swing trades.
After countless hours of rigorous testing and refinement, I have selected the current strategy because it provides a balanced approach to achieving consistent profits while managing risk effectively.
One of the most crucial aspects of successful trading is managing risk. I have designed my strategy to limit the possible outcomes to three scenarios: small wins, small losses, and big wins. Most importantly, no trade will ever experience a big loss due to the robust risk management techniques I employ. To further minimize risk, I allocate only a small percentage of my entire trading account to any single trade. For instance, I use just 2% of my overall trading account for any given trade. If a particular trade exits with a 5% loss, the impact on the entire account is only 0.1%. This disciplined approach to trade allocation significantly reduces the potential for substantial losses and ensures that my capital is preserved over the long term.
